Finally going to update my blog, it's definitely been awhile. I should be doing my homework but I decided to do this. Clearly, that's great decision making.

This is super random, honestly, I have so many things to write about but I've chosen to write my favourite songs for 2017. I guess that's because I discovered some pretty good songs/artists. I decided to list those which are released, even if it's at the end of December (I'm excluding re-packaged album released this year if not I would have included YNWA)

Illenium Awake Album (I honestly don't think I can rank this LOL)

1. Beautiful Creatures (this is the only thing I'm sure, cos I listen to this the most)

5. Taking Me Higher (it's so chill and satisfying, a lil similar to ODESZA (?) ) 
6. Where'd U Go - Said the Sky (some parts of this song really reminds me of porter robinson)
7. Leaving (nice beat)
8. Let You Go - Ember Island (I like her voice, slow chill vibe)
9. Sound of Walking Away (the drop is reallllly good so that's why I put it above free fall lol)
10. Free Fall - RUNN (reminds me of feel good)

12. Feel Good - Daya (good song but I think I got bored of it)
13. No Time Like Now (I would put this as BGM for this blog if I could, I don't really want to put this last either, this is harder than I thought)

THERE ARE NO BAD SONGS IN THIS ALBUM OKAY!

It's not super accurate (I tried to rank as fairly as possible) but I didn't download all songs in my phone (due to laziness) so it's hard for me to decide since I can only rank those in my phone (like how often I hear the songs). I actually had to keep switching between songs to decide wow and this is only the first album zz. But I think the rest will be easier. I truly like all songs in this album.

ODESZA - A MOMENT APART ALBUM

1. Intro + A Moment Apart (similar to Awake, I have clear winner for this album too, I swear everyone needs to listen these two, the transition is so lit I'm in love)
2. Across The Room - Leon Bridges
3. Line of Sight - WYNNE & Mansionair (I can't rank 2/3)

5. Higher Ground - Naomi Wild

7. Thin Floors And Tall Ceilings (close your eyes and feel~)

12. Meridan (the kind of song that you may not like at first but after a few more times, you'll actually enjoy it)

14. Late Night (omg this sounds like those TOPSHOP/ fashion runway songs your hear in games or real life LOL)
15. Everything At Your Feet - The Chamanas (very different from the rest, Spanish language & trumpet sounds makes the song very unique, really interesting to listen to)

It's not that tough to sort the top few ranks because to be honest I rarely listen to the album compared to Awake, but it's also tough since there are 15 songs (excluding intro) more than Awake. It took me like 2-3 times of listening before I actually enjoy listening to all the songs on the album. I remember hearing Late Night and I was like omg this reminds me of shopping too much LOL and I was like ehhh.. but you know now, I'm totally okay with it. But trust me, A MOMENT APART is so LIT! It calms me down, and the song is stuck in my head for days. Rank 2-8 are all super close.

Go Go (go watch the heart performance if you haven't, cutest shit ever, I stan artists who show appreciation to fans)(honestly why I rank this below outro even tho I rarely listen to outro is because I feel that I only enjoyed Go Go more because of the performance, but if they didn't perform it on music bank/ other shows, in terms of music I would have listened to Outro more)
9. Pied Paper (I feel like I rank this last because I rarely listen to this, but it's still a good song)

This don't have shitty songs too so all is damn good <3 As you can see I added all songs except for Pied Paper, and Outro. BUT ALL THE SONGS ARE GOOD. I'm such a bts trash zz.

The news got me upset because I really love this album and I thought I would start to stan them since the last songs I hear from them before I listened to this album was like 'In the End' and 'New Divide' which are like super old but I still like them. Old is gold.

Awake by Illenium and One More Light are the two albums where I really really like all the songs from the first time I heard them.

EXO - UNIVERSE - Winter Special Album 2017

Honestly, this won't be super accurate except for Universe since it's recently released so I'm not super sure which songs I prefer, but omg the vocal lines yeaaaah boyyyyy.

I remember being super addicted to Lorde's voice esp Perfect Places. This isn't accurate either since the last few rankings are like around the same to me because I never really listen to them. But overall, I really enjoy Melodrama.
